Wihuri Grant and Collaboration with KAMUS String Quartet
Exciting announcement: In 2025, we will perform joint concerts with the brilliant KAMUS string quartet! For this project, we're arranging and composing new material, including a commissioned piece from the musical mastermind Marzi Nyman. We're honored and grateful to have received a grant from the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation for this project.
In December, we kicked off preparations for our new album with a songwriting weekend at Kortiston tila. The rehearsal was highly productive, yielding a plethora of new material. Special thanks to Eija and Jussi for their wonderful hospitality!
WOMEX
Tero represented our band at the WOMEX fair in La Coruña, Spain. There, we negotiated exciting new plans, especially for our special year in 2025.
Recent Performances
Our orchestral concert in Joensuu was a blast! A wonderful orchestra and audience made it a memorable experience. During the rehearsal days, we conducted a master class for the student orchestra and experimented with new educational arrangements. Everything worked out very well, and we're eager to do the master class again!
The performance on the Folklandia cruise was delightful, attracting a full house. Thank you for having us on board!
